Five compelling films have been selected for the Orange County chapter’s second human rights film festival on Sunday, October 9. The films, ranging from 12 to 72 minutes, come from Senegal, Congo, Nepal, Ghana, and Kazakhstan. Some are serious and some are more lighthearted, but all deal with women’s issues of concern to men and women of all ages and all are vivid portrayals of important topics. Read more ...
Fana Global Foundation (FGF) has sponsored and organized it's 1st annual "children' wellness worldwide" 5 K walk in Huntington Beach,CA on September 25, 2011.This event was put together to raise awareness about the threats to childhood nutrition worldwide, from hunger to obesity and to empower children to build a sustainable healthy future for themselves.
It was a perfect sunny day for the children, their family and friends to share fun, laughter, sunshine and ocean for a great cause. Proceeds supported the after hours wellness program in Oak View Elementary school in HB and other local/global projects that raise community awareness and combat childhood hunger & obesity.
Put together by generous and committed FGF non compensated members/volunteer who spent more than a year to organize this event , allowing the participants to enjoy and have fun in many other included activities such as stretching, warm up exercises, massages, yoga , dance, drawing and painting etc.
Fana Global Foundation would like to acknowledge and greatly appreciate the donors, sponsors, volunteers and participants for their contribution to the FGF children's wellness worldwide project.

On May 26th, Fana Global Foundation attended "Making Connections: Move More, Eat Healthy OC" Obesity Summit, at Cal State Fullerton, as a part of our commitment to combating childhood malnutrition - from Hunger to Obesity. The summit brought together local government and community leaders, universities, county educators, and health care professionals to discuss the steps necessary to improve the health of Orange County over the next decade. The summit demonstrated the need to make public health issues, such as the obesity epidemic, a priority because it has long-term economic and social benefits. As active members of the Orange County Nutrition and Physical Activity Collaborative (NuPAC), Fana Global Foundation is committed to taking part in this countrywide conversation. Read more
